Cheating the Hangman is a an autobiography by Wade Agnew. Wade trafficked heroin into Australia from the Golden Triangle, a dangerous area which borders Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. He did this for 11 years and was addicted to the drug for over 30 years.
Trafficking drugs in Asia is dangerous business, anyone caught faces the death penalty. Wade was one of the lucky few not to get caught and live to tell the story. He always imagined writing the book from a prison cell.
The book tells of his tales of travel around the world, while avoiding capture. It is fast paced read which will at times will leave your stomach chearning.
